In late 2021, Hope Vale Foundation’s Board of Directors had a sit-down to brainstorm the perfect logo, aiming to reflect their commitment to a brighter future for Hope Vale.
They tasked a talented graphic designer with this vision and 12 incredible designs were brought to the table for discussion.
The Directors found themselves torn between themes that celebrated Indigenous culture and those that captured the area’s natural beauty.
After some lively discussion, they landed on a winner, a design that truly does justice to the breathtaking landscapes of Hope Vale, featuring its hills, rivers, lowlands, and the sea, with the rising sun depicting a new beginning.
The chosen colour scheme is rich with meaning. Red, black, and yellow pay homage to the town’s First Nation’s people, while the addition of orange brings a sense of joy and warmth, blue evokes the expansive sky, the river, and the sea, green symbolises growth and harmony with nature, and yellow brings a burst of happiness and sunshine.
This is more than just a logo; it’s a vibrant representation of Hope Vale and its vision for the future, encapsulating the spirit and beauty of the place and its people.
