The future in agriculture and aquaculture

Information sharing and relationship building were the order of the day when Hope Vale Foundation’s Project and Advocacy Manager, Shaun Nancarrow, hosted a visit from Simon Irving from CSIRO, Luke Dutney from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF), and Will Kidd from the Gallagher Group Ltd.

Topics of conversation ranged from the history of Hope Vale, perimeter fencing of the farm, to agricultural and aquaculture possibilities for the region.

During their visit to Elim Beach, the group benefited from catching up with Ivan Deemal. He walked the beach with them, discussing promising aquaculture ventures.

Exciting times ahead for the Hope Vale community!
